I have been truly blessed by people that have thrown me in the fire to figure things out or to gently guide me as I learned to work with media outlets, to write a press release in a way that will get the attention of those you want to get the message to.I have studied under those behind a camera and what angles of a shot works or what the writing of a commercial should include to get your clients the results they are looking for.
All of this was mostly done through people and not at a desk in a school. It is taking those chances and learning to become better at your trade.
It has been my privilege to help others that are in the same field of expertise. I love seeing interns or employees grow in their careers and know that I am passing on my gratefulness of skills and knowledge because someone gave me the gift of time andtalent.
It truly does take a village to learn and to succeed. Never forget those that helped you to get where you are today. And remember to give back what you have learned.
