The Creative Ideas team is comprised of highly-qualified, creative individual of varied backgrounds. Let us introduce you to our core team members:

Jan Porter
President/Client Services Principal

Jan Porter attended three different colleges and continuing education classes.  She began her career working in a radio station in Cleveland, Ohio, which eventually led to a position as the Public Relations Assistant for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers.  In 1986 she moved to Florida to become PR Director of the Tampa Bay Thrillers and oversee all the other CBA teams. In 1989 after, Jan started Creative Ideas while also maintaining work as a media relations professional with various sports franchises including the Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Storm.  As President and client Service Principal, Jan leads our team of advertising and public relations, and design professionals in bringing the high-quality, results-oriented promotional skills she has been long known for to a wide variety of local, national and international businesses.

When she is not working, Jan is very active in her church, a non-profit organization called Reach Out Speak Out, that helps victims and survivors of domestic violence and spending time with her husband and their beagle, MAX.

Jan and Paul Porter Team:  Paul joined the Creative Ideas team in 1999.  They make up the perfect team.  Their talents harmonize with the needs of the agency.

Paul Porter
Talent Coordinator & Media Consultant

Paul Porter has been the arena voice of the Orlando Magic and Tampa Bay Lightning from its inception.  He is also the PA announcer for the Tampa Bay Storm, has announced three NBA All-Star games, the voice of the NBA Finals twice and the voice of the World Basketball Championships twice.  He also announced the NHL Finals and NHL All-Star Game.  At Creative Ideas, Paul is our voice-over specialist and talent coordinator.  He also acts as media consultant.  Paul has a sports talk show, The Home Team, that can be heard every Saturday on WGUL 860 AM from 11 AM to 1 PM. 

When not working Paul loves to spend time at the beach and enjoying time with their beagle MAX

Graphic Designer

Hayley Hines comes to Creative Ideas Agency with experience in a wide range of digital media, photography, and graphic design. She spent six years as a Junior Broadcast Designer for ABC Action News in addition to serving the Art and Promotions Departments as the lead print artist on all in-house and out-of-house art campaigns. She rekindled her college love with photography, while working as the Art Director for FOCUS Magazine, following her time at ABC. Today, Hayley works with Creative Ideas as a freelance graphic designer while she continues to follow her passion as a photographer specializing in families, seniors, and couples.

Hayley says her true joy comes from being a mom to her wonderful daughter and step-daughter.

Art Director

Elizabeth White began her career as a high school and middle school biology teacher. When called upon to move into the yearbook teacher position, she found her calling and left teaching to pursue graphic design and marketing full time. She worked her way up through the ranks as a marketing coordinator for Hops Restaurant, eventually landing an art director position in an agency setting. Following the birth of her first child, she returned to the position that brought her to advertising – yearbook design – which enabled her to work from home. Today, she works with Creative Ideas developing advertising design and branding for a wide range of clients, as well as specializing in yearbook ad design each year.

Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, as well as participating in crafts such as scrapbooking and beading. Her other passion is spending time in the quiet of the outdoors. Elizabeth also home schools her children.

Graphic Designer/Web Design

Zoe came to the US to attend college.  She graduated Suma Cum Laude from the International Academy of Design and Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Design.  She is well respected and works with media in the Tampa Bay area.  In her spare time she loves to read, spend time with her niece and nephew and volunteer at the church she attends.

Graphic Designer

Sharon is a very creative person.  Her entire life is surrounded by some type of art.  Whether it is creating a project for Creative Ideas or drawing.  Sharon also teaches art classes on canvas and has her own art studio.  Her work can be found around the Tampa Bay area.  Sharon currently is also taking advanced classes to further her love of art.

Media Assistant/Graphic Designer

Nick Colelli is a fifth generation native of Tampa. He is a graduate of H. B. Plant High School and the University of Tampa (UT), where he obtained his B.S. degree in Sport Management. While attending UT, he worked in the school’s Athletic Department, which eventually led him to his position in the Client Services and Public Relations departments for the Tampa Bay Lightning for eight years – including the 2003-2004 season when the team won the Stanley Cup.

Nick is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with family and friends and enjoyed taking part in last year’s Miles for Moffitt – a Moffitt Cancer Center fundraiser. In his free time he also enjoys watching movies, going to the beach, going to the gym and playing recreational sports.
